Questions
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no email, and no credit card. You type what you want, you get a deck, you download the file.
Is the file a real PowerPoint?
Yes. It is a .pptx you can open in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides and edit like anything else. Charts are native PowerPoint charts with the underlying data attached, not pictures of charts, so right-click and Edit Data works.
Is there a watermark?
No. Nothing is stamped on your slides and nothing is added to the file.
Why does the text always fit?
Every text box is measured before the file is written. We wrap the text server-side against Carlito, which has the same character widths as Calibri, so the line breaks we predict are the line breaks PowerPoint produces. If something is too long for its box we reduce the size within a narrow range, and past that we shorten or re-lay-out the slide instead of shrinking it into unreadability.
Will it make up statistics?
It is instructed not to. If you give it numbers it uses those numbers; if you do not, it writes the argument without inventing any. Charts are only built from data you supplied. Always read a generated deck before you present it.
